Civilmart – Taylex

CTC Precast Pty Ltd (Civilmart) proposes to acquire 100% of the issued share capital in Taylex Group Holding Co Pty Ltd (Taylex) (the Acquisition).

Civilmart is a manufacturer and supplier of precast concrete products which are used in civil construction, plumbing, sewerage, stormwater, drainage, and electrical and communications infrastructure.

Civilmart is owned by CRH Infrastructure Products Australia Pty Ltd (IPA), which in turn is owned by CRH plc (CRH). CRH is a global supplier of building materials and infrastructure products which operates in Australia through IPA and Civilmart. CRH also, through CRH ANZ Pty Ltd, holds a 57.3% shareholding in Adbri Limited.

Taylex is a privately owned Australian company that, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, manufactures and supplies active wastewater treatment systems (AWTS), septic tanks, rainwater tanks and associated products to customers across Australia.

The parties both supply:

• concrete AWTS and associated products in NSW, QLD and VIC;
• concrete septic tanks and associated products in NSW, QLD and VIC; and
• concrete rainwater tanks in south-east QLD and northern NSW.
